Reclaim Your Loan & Credit Card Balances Are your loan & credit card agreements worth the paper they are written on?
Approximately 50 million Credit Agreements are created in the UK each year. It is estimated that over 25 million of these agreements could be unenforceable!
If so you might be able to stop paying back your remaining loan and credit card balances. You may even be due a refund of all or part of the interest and charges you have paid already.
We can get your credit agreements checked by our solicitors, who are fully accredited members of The Law Society, to see if your agreements comply with the terms stated in the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
If your credit agreement is found to be unfair and therefore unenforceable, our solicitors will attempt to write off outstanding balances and possibly reclaim some previous payments.
What Credit Agreements Qualify?
- Credit agreements must be ongoing with at least £5,000 still outstanding
- Agreements must be for between £5000 and £25,000
- Agreements must pre-date 6th April 2007
